2019- A Year in Review....

As we look back on the past year, we want to recognize the many generous people who have helped us. Our sponsors, volunteers and community partners is what keep this foundation going. From the financial support from our sponsors, to the event volunteers, to our community partners that help us in spreading our message to the masses, our success is 100% attributed our supporters. 2019 was a year of change for the foundation. Our Founder, Star Rooney, with a happy but heavy heart, passed the baton and position of Executive Director to Melissa Cavalier to pursue a new exciting career and start of a new 501c3, Ahava Festival. Although Star's role is not that of Director any longer she still remains very active on the Board and at Foundation events.

With so much change happening this year we thought it approach to some year in review highlights! Here are some of this year's best moments:

  • We crowned 2 new graduates at our 2019 Purple Tie & Tiara Gala
  • Our Men of Valor Golf for TOLF Tournament was ighest grossing yet
  • We have gained 3 new Corporate Community Partners
  • We had a record breaking year for fundraising with 1 scholarship given and many more to come!

We know that 2020 holds bright things for our Foundation's future and we can't wait to see what God does next.

Welcome...

Token of Love Foundation is a faith-based 501c3 organization with the mission of bringing Love and Unity to our local community by partnering with people and businesses to end cycles of abuse, poverty, addiction and human sex trafficking. We provide access to education, vocational training, life and business coaching, counseling as well as short-term housing to at risk women in the community. The women we serve will be afforded opportunities to live a productive and successful life while also being ministered to by our team of Christian counselors to heal the hurts of their past. Token of Love aspires to walk alongside these women, offering encouragement and love, as we help them birth their dreams and unlock their destinies.

"He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." – Psalms 147:3
